Rented annually, these plots can provide up to 60% of the food needs of a household of 5 people.

Far from the city’s hustle and bustle, Touriver offers four types of unique accommodation. Nestled in lush greenery in Berrechid, they invite guests to relax and contemplate. “We want our visitors to experience an immersive and authentic rural lifestyle,” confides Abderrahmane.

Learning and Acting for a Sustainable Future

Touriver also serves as an environmental education center. Workshops and training on permaculture, renewable energy, and stargazing are offered to families, schoolchildren, and businesses. Touriver has quickly become a place of learning and sharing where everyone can discover sustainable solutions for the future.

A Living Laboratory for Innovation

Touriver is a true laboratory for agricultural innovation. The farm has a tilapia pond, a biogas digester, solar panels, and a wastewater treatment system for ecological and responsible irrigation. “We are constantly looking for new technologies to reduce our environmental impact,” explains Abderrahmane. In 2024, he plans to launch a hydroponics project called “Green for All” in collaboration with a startup specializing in these technologies.
